Missing Coach, Trainer and Speak Out Cards

The OWHA has a procedure that may allow you to replace your missing card.  They have forms you can complete and submit to obtain the missing card.  The following buttons will open the PDF formatted forms.

Training Course Schedules

If you are interested in taking a coaching, trainer's course or a Speak Out clinic, you should check out the OWHA web site.  Coaches should look under NCCP, trainers should look under HTCP and Speak Out is under Speak Out  Quite often BGHC offers these clinics and the dates are posted under our Calendar.

Coach

The OWHA requires that we have a minimum Level I coach on the bench for all teams from House League to Rep. The Club will pay for the certification of one coach per team.  The course usually costs around $100.00 and the Club will reimburse the successful participants upon presentation of a receipt of completion.  The receipts should be mailed to our mail box at:

Helmets Required

The OWHA passed a regulation that requires all coaches on the ice during practices to be wearing a CSA approved helmet.

Permission To Skate

Under the OWHA rules any player that wishes to tryout with another association must have a Permission To Skate Form.  We require Permission to Skate forms to be signed by the President, Greg Gillies, or Vice-President, Paul Ivey.  Contact information is available at the Executive Page.
